SFC Classes
The SFC Difference
How we differ from "mainstream" fitness class or gyms
Strength Training
Max Skill Development with a focus on lifting weights! Strength is a sustainable, total-body workout that builds strength, power, and movement literacy.
We will cover all fundamental movements - pushing, pulling, pressing, squatting, hinging/dead-lifting, loaded carries, core/ground work, and skill acquisition. Our strength class focuses on building strength in a smart, sustainable way.
Vitality
Interval-based workouts focus on high output, repeatable work efforts, and controlled recovery; the goal here is actual, productive adaptation.
Vitality is intelligent energy system development; yes your heart will be pumping but the focus will be to match up your breathing strategy as it relates to the intensity or the activity. This is critical to sustaining an optimal level of output and staving off fatigue - giving you the confidence to finish the race strong or tackle the last mile of your hike without petering out.
Stamina
The bigger the base, the higher the peak! In today's fitness world most folks give into uncontrolled intensity and unregulated recovery when training conditioning. That's a huge mistake and is the direct path to bonking!
Stamina is designed to build a strong, efficient aerobic base. A well trained aerobic system allows you to burn fat as fuel more efficiently, improve distribution of nutrients and O2 through the body via the blood and lungs, enhances recovery, and give you the ability to better manage energy in day to day life. Are you adapting or just suffering better?
Active Recovery Training (ART)
Not every session should be a high intensity break-down. Taking time to recover is crucial for the mind, body and spirit to feel rejuvenated so you can perform your best. ART class will improve your movements, mobility and provide an encouraging environment to explore and play!
SFC Level System
Our level system provides motivation and guidance throughout your training journey allowing you to see what your hard work has accomplished and a GPS to help you navigate along the way.
